North Yorkshire Animal Feeds Firm Strengthens Sales Team

140318I’Anson Bros Limited, one of the UK’s leading, independent, family-owned farm feeds businesses, has appointed a new member of staff, supporting its ongoing growth and development.

Karen Winspear joins I’Anson Bros Limited after previously working as a sales representative for a mineral company. Her new role will involve promoting the company’s products, visiting and advising customers, attending agricultural shows and markets.

Born into several generations of farmers, Karen, who now lives in Hawes, grew up on a family farm in Wensleydale with Friesian cows and Swaledale sheep. Raising animals at 1,000ft above sea level demonstrated to Karen the value of good livestock nutrition.

Chris I’Anson, Managing Director of I’Anson Bros Limited, commented on the appointment: “We are thrilled that Karen has joined our ever-expanding team. Her sales experience and farming background will be invaluable to the company. Strengthening our team is an important part of our continued growth. Having staff with a wealth of knowledge within the agricultural industry and building a relationship with local farmers are both areas which I have no doubt Karen will excel in.”

Karen added: “I am very passionate about agriculture and working for a company like I’Anson Bros will allow me to help farmers get the best out of their livestock.”

Now in its second century of business, I’Anson Bros Limited is one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of animal feedstuffs and has been serving farmers in Yorkshire and the North of England since 1900 when it was founded in Masham. It is highly regarded for its high quality product range and commitment to outstanding customer service.
